I never knew I was a "disruptor"

Months ago, I received a random phone call.

The person on the other end asked me several questions about our firm and our philosophy on design. At this point, you have to understand that I talk to a lot of people- potential clients, Ball State architecture students, and even random strangers.

Fast forward months later and I get a random package in the mail. Inside was the Summer 2026 edition of Forma Indy Magazine [Journal 2].

It’s a very nice design magazine, so I start flipping through the magazine and reading some very nice articles on Indianapolis homes and designs. Then there I was… staring back at myself from page 78.

I gasped audibly. It caught me off guard.

Somehow, I made the SHORT LIST for a section of the magazine called THE DISRUPTORS. I kind of like it. “I’m a disruptor.”

Rottmann Collier Architects really does do things differently. We are special.
